The Declaration of Independence - Original Draft
   The image below shows the orginal draft by Thomas Jefferson of the Declaration of Independence, still held by the Library of Congress.  Notice the revisions made as Jefferson worked out the wording of the famous lines in the first few sentences that are so well known today.
